I'm Lea Matveeva — tattoo artist based in Uppsala, Sweden, with over 10 years of experience and 1000+ pieces. I specialise in realism, graphic and colour styles, always with one goal: a custom tattoo that feels completely yours and still looks sharp decades from now.

Every tattoo starts with a conversation about your idea. I use only high-quality vegan inks and materials. My studio is at Kungsgatan 79 in Uppsala — a short walk from the central station. Clients are welcome from Uppsala, Stockholm and all of Sweden.

FAQ

Common questions

It depends on placement. The most sensitive areas are ribs, spine, inner arm, knees and elbows — bony spots with thin skin hurt the most. Outer arm, thigh and shoulder are generally easier. Most people manage fine; the discomfort is temporary, the result is permanent.

A small deposit is required to confirm your booking. It goes toward the total cost of your session.

Absolutely. I work with your references and ideas, then refine the design to suit your skin and placement. Custom work is what I do best.

I give you full aftercare instructions after your session. Generally: keep it clean and moisturised, out of direct sun, and away from soaking water for 2–3 weeks.

Yes — I use only high-quality vegan inks and materials. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, let me know when you book.

Absolutely. I regularly work with clients travelling from Stockholm and other parts of Sweden. Uppsala is just 40 minutes from Stockholm by train.
